Tips and Size Guide

Tips on Measuring

For best results, use a flexible tape measure

It is best to ask someone else for help and make a note of all the measurements

Make sure you check your measurements twice

Check your measurements against your favourite/best fitting shirt

Our website can work with all types of measurements, please be aware of mm, cm and inches.

Check our size guide thoroughly for help with all the measurements

A

Collar

Circumference

Take the measurement three centimetres upwards from the cervical vertebra point (roughly where the top of your shirt collar would sit) and then circle the tape around the neck including and over the Adam’s apple and insert one finger to loosen it off of the neck – this will provide the collar measurement.

B

Chest

Width

Lift up the arms slightly and place the measuring tape around the fullest part of the chest then insert two fingers and loosen it off of the chest, allowing the measuring tape to slide naturally on the body – this will provide the chest measurement.

C

Waist

Width

Place the measuring tape around your waist and make a circle including two fingers into the measuring tape.   (The waist should be around about the belly button area)

D

Hem

Width

Place the measuring tape around the fullest part of the hips and make a circle, including two fingers into the measuring tape – this will provide the hem width.

E

Shoulder

Width

Start from the left shoulder endpoint, draw the measurement tape into an arc or arch, taking the measuring tape to the area at the base of a shirt collar and over to the right shoulder endpoint – this will provide the shoulder width.

F

Sleeve

Length

With the arm resting by your side and the hand pointing towards the floor, place the measuring tape from your shoulder endpoint to two centimetres up from the middle of the skin between the thumb and index (first) finger. This will provide the sleeve length.

G

Center

Back Length (CBL)

Firstly, stand up straight (feet should be shoulder width apart). Then place the measuring tape from the bottom of the collar to the lowest point of your hip or where you want the shirt to come to.

H

Cuff

Length

Place the measuring tape two centimetres up from the middle of the skin between the thumb and index (first) finger and measure to your wrist.

I

Cuff

Width

Place the measuring tape around the wrist and make a circle including a finger into the measuring tape.

J

Sleeve

Width

Place the measuring tape around the fullest part of the upper arm and make a circle including a finger into the measuring tape. .
